Dr Scott Wilmot – Director
Dr Wilmot grew up in Sarina, North Queensland, moving to Brisbane to study medicine at the University of Queensland. Following graduation in 1993, Dr Wilmot commenced his medical career at Nambour General Hospital completing 2 years of work before traveling overseas during most of 1996.
Upon his return, Dr Wilmot was drawn to General Practice, working in Nambour, Cooroy and Gympie, before attaining his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2000.
A strong procedural interest led to work in the field of skin cancer medicine, and the establishment of the SolarDerm group with Dr Larry Bull. He enjoys every facet of melanoma and skin cancer work along with the day-to-day management of SolarDerm Clinics, and takes great pride in the level of care being provided to the people of Queensland.
Hours outside work are devoted to family life, the all-too-infrequent game of golf, and with a wife, and three young children, the time is very well spent.

Jennifer Tucker - Practice Manager
Originally a Melbourne girl, I moved to Kerang in country Victoria in late 70’s, where we raised our 3 sons. I was actively involved with the administration of my husband’s manufacturing business and when the boys got a little older, became a working partner in a fashion boutique. Since 1994 until 2007, I was a Practice Manager in a busy rural practice. 1997 saw us purchase a large flood irrigation property where we bred beef cattle. In 2001, I decided to study for formal qualifications in Practice Management.
In 2007 we made move from the bush to the beach, settling on the side of Mount Coolum. Since our arrival I have been working as a Practice Manager, in corporate heath. I am also a qualified trainer, facilitating medical reception courses for new entrants to the industry.
My role at Solarderm is to provide leadership to all. I am responsible for the effective management and operations of the group so as we can continue to offer high quality care to our patients. I’m delighted to be a member of the Solarderm team, whose focus is the ongoing early detection and treatment of all skin cancers.
Janelle – Practice Nurse
I trained at St. Vincent’s Toowoomba as an Enrolled Nurse and completed my Endorsement some 10 years later. I travelled a little around Qld before children and then settled on the Sunshine Coast in 2006. I had previously been employed at various Skin Cancer Clinic’s prior to my employment at SolarDerm. I enjoy keeping fit, visiting my local gym and playing soccer. This summer, I hope to take up belly dancing.
Liz Dunford – Practice Nurse
Looking for a sea change, my youngest daughter, husband and I relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 2008 from Forbes, Central West NSW. Since then our older daughters have moved north to join us, along with their partners and grand daughter. I’m a Registered Nurse, initially training in Sydney and then moving back west again where I nursed at the local hospital for some years. I then moved into General Practice. I have been a Practice Nurse for over 10 years. I have recently joined SolarDerm and am looking forward to working with the team for many years.
Michelle Hulton – Medical Receptionist
I enjoy a very rich and rewarding working career in several different fields over the last three decades, mainly covering service and hospitality industries, here in Australia since 1999, as well as my birthplace, New Zealand and in the UK in the 1980’s.
Having previously worked in two medical receptionist roles in Maleny where my Aussie husband and I live, I am delighted to be part of the Nambour SolarDerm team. Working with people is what I enjoy most and I look forward to a long and happy association with this innovative and supportive company.
