I’ve previously been employed as a Practice Manager for a Cosmetic and skin Caner Surgeon for 5 ½ years. During that period I performed skin therapy and cosmetic consultations. Most recently I worked at Brisbane North Private Emergency in administration. I have 2 boys, enjoy reading and love going to church on Sundays.
My position at SolarDerm Kallangur is Office Manager. I strive to be a good team leader and meet the needs of our patients.
Anne-Marie Ko – Medical Receptionist
I am married to a Medical Practitioner and migrated to Australia from Burma (Myanmar) in 1988. Since our arrival I have worked in various client-orientated positions in different government departments and private firms in WA, NT, and Old. I have also worked as a Medical Receptionist at our own private surgery in Central Queensland for almost 2 years before moving to North Lakes. I have a son who is studying Pharmacy at QUT. I am a devout Christian and attend Church Services twice every Sunday.
I thoroughly enjoy working at SolarDerm Kallangur and meeting the needs of our patients..
Michelle Mook – Practice Nurse
I was born and bred in Melbourne and moved to Brisbane in March 2010 due to my husband’s work commitments. I completed my Registered Nurse training in the late 80’s at PANCH and following a few years of general nursing and travel, returned to Latrobe University where I completed a Health Science degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
I was able to utilize both these qualifications well at my last position at Hyperbaric Health where I worked for eight years prior to leaving Victoria. Aside from the technical issues of nursing in the hyperbaric environment, I also developed an interest in wound care. It was this that led me to apply for the position of practice nurse with Solarderm. I commenced in May 2011 at the Kallangur clinic and look forward to the challenges of another aspect of nursing and working as part of a team.
Outside of work, with a busy husband, two active sons and even a male dog, I enjoy a range of outdoor activities. I’m also an avid reader and like to cook.
