I moved to Bundaberg from Miles, Qld,
in 1992, where my husband and I ran a farm machinery
business. I worked as a sales assistant selling tiles
for 9 months and then attained a position as Medical
Receptionist/ Practice Manager for a GP in Bargara,
where I worked for 12 years. I attained a Certificate
3 in Business Management at the Bundaberg Tafe, whilst
working in Bargara. I then worked on a casual basis
for a medical practice in Bundaberg for 8 months,
when I thought I might try to retire. But I felt the
need to be useful once again so I was delighted when
I was chosen to work for Solarderm in Bundaberg, where
I commenced in May 2007. I am married and have 3 adult
children and 2 grandchildren, with 1 on the way. This
keeps me very busy as they live only a couple of streets
away.
